Who we are
TechnoSmile India Pvt Ltd ("TechnoSmile", "we") is a government-registered sending organization based at 18/6, Aandal Nagar, Uppilipalayam P.O., Coimbatore – 641015, Tamil Nadu, India. We connect Indian professionals with employment opportunities in Japan under the TITP, SSW, and Engineering (Gijinkoku) visa programs.
What we collect
When you submit our enquiry form or contact us on WhatsApp, phone, or email, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, the program you are interested in, your current Japanese language level, your company name (for employer enquiries), and anything you write in your message. If you proceed with an application we will request further information (education, work history, identity and travel documents) with your consent at each step.
Why we collect it
We use your data to respond to your enquiry, assess your eligibility for Japan placement programs, provide language training and placement services you request, communicate with you about your application, and meet our legal obligations as a sending organization. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
With your consent during the placement process, relevant details are shared with: prospective Japanese employers and supervising organizations, Japanese and Indian government authorities as required for visa processing, and our parent company TechnoSmile Corporation (Japan), which provides on-ground support. Service providers that host our website and communication tools process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate a person to exercise your rights, and raise a grievance. Write to hr@technosmile.co.jp and we will respond within a reasonable period. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Retention and security
Enquiry data is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for legitimate business records, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Application and placement records are retained as required by applicable Indian and Japanese regulations. Access to your data is restricted to staff who need it for the purposes above.
